MEET THE TEAM
PADI Course Director #264292
Fabio started diving in 1984 at the age of 10, when his father, a scuba instructor, took him on his first dive in a fresh water crater-lake in Nicaragua. He fell in love with the underwater world and hasn’t stopped diving since. As his experience and knowledge of the aquatic realm grew, he decided to deepen his passion by enrolling in a Bachelor of Ecology program, and later acheiving his Masters in Wildlife Management.
As a Course Director, Fabio has received several awards commending him for his excellence and experience in certifying divers worldwide, as well as for his efforts in the areas of coaching and management skills. He is also a very experienced Instructor Trainer in Technical Diving, Sidemount, Photography, and many other areas of specialty. During your IDC you will have the chance to be closely coached by a Fabio in small groups, allowing you to enhance and develop your teaching and diving capabilities to a whole new level.

PADI Open Water Scuba Instructor #434993
Peter became certified as an Open Water diver in 2012 during travels in Thailand. He immediately fell in love with the ocean and its bio-diversity. Since that time, Peter has pursued his passion for exploring the underwater world at every opportunity.
Before entering the diving world, Peter worked in ecological tourism and species conservation and always seeks to promote environmental consciousness. Therefore, he decided to start his professional dive career with the Eco Divemaster-Internship at the Roatan Dive Academy in 2019.
Peter was especially drawn the Roatan Dive Academy since it included comprehensive coral restoration education as part of the Internship. Helping out on the coral conservation project was eye-opening and spurred his desire for a new occupation in marine conservation.
After completing his Divemaster-Internship, Peter relocated to Cyprus to gain more experience in professional diving and worked as a Divemaster for the summer season in 2019.
His commitment and his passion for under water environment brought him back to Roatan and we couldn’t be happier to welcome our former student to work on our coral restoration team.
Once Peter finishes his Instructor Development Course he will also teach the ecological classes and specialty certifications offered by Roatan Dive Academy.
